Dear Parents,
I've worked with your flower
and helped it to grow.
I'm returning it now
but, I want you to know...
This flower is precious:
As dear as can be.
Love, take care of it.
And you will see a bright new bloom
with every day.
It grew and blossomed
in such a wonderful way.
In September, just a bud,
then January, a bloom.
Now a lovely blossom
that I'm returning to you.
Remember, this flower,
as dear as can be.
Though rightfully yours,
part will always be with me!
To The Wilds' Things
The school year is now over.
Our classes soon will end.
You've grown so much and learned a lot.
I'm proud of you, my friend!
Your pencils may be broken
And your markers all dried out.
But, you have something you won't lose-
Of this I have no doubt!
The knowledge that you've gained this year,
you'll never break or lose.
So keep it safe inside your head,
and use it when you choose!
Although you move and change your grade,
you wont forget the friends you've made.
New friends will enter when you go,
But, I have a secret you should know!
When you come back to visit,
the room wont look the same.
But, I'll always have a hug for you
and be glad you came!
A teacher's heart is magical,
this, I know, is true.
It has a very special place
for each and every student's face...
and now that includes YOU!
Thank you for such a wonderful year...ALL of you xoxo
