Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and got a chance to enjoy the glorious weather!
This week is an "off" week for our PARCC schedule. Third graders will be completing the ELA portion of the test this week and we will finish up next week. Even though it is not a PARCC week for us, we do have 2 tests this week. On Wednesday, we will have our Unit 7 assessment in Math. We started a review packet in class today and will finish and review tomorrow. Also, this Friday will be our West Region test. Students have flashcards for states and capitals and should be practicing at home. They also have their West packets that they can be reviewing at home. Today, we played Kahoot and for the rest of the week we will be completing maps and study guides.
Your 4th grader should have brought home a permission slip for the field trip to the Museum of Science. We are asking that they are returned ASAP. The fee of $5.00 can be turned in closer to the day of the trip.
Ask your student about the book, "Tuck Everlasting" that we are reading in class. They LOVE it and can make predictions and connections all day long. ELA is my favorite time of the day now, I love hearing their ideas!!
Have a super week :)
