Thanks for stopping in! We have a lot of things going on :)
Tomorrow, 10/20, Grade 4 students are invited to participate in Banking. We also have Library. Please remind your student to bring their books to school to either renew or return.
Thursday, 10/22 is Willett School's skate party at United Skates of America. This event will begin at 6pm and end at 8pm. The cost of this event is $2.00. If you are in need of skate rentals, traditional skates will be a fee of $4.00 while rollerblades will be $4.50. Students are not required to wear their Halloween costumes but, there will be a parade and some prizes!
This upcoming Saturday, 10/24 is WIllett's Harvest Fest from 12-3pm. The PTO is still looking for volunteers to assist with this fabulous event. If you are able to help or donate items that are needed, please contact the PTO.
We Just began an exciting project all about the United States. Each 4th grader picked a state and will do research in class on various things that make up that state; landforms, points of interest, bordering states, waterways, economy, natural resources and climate. After the students research in class, they will be bringing their notes to Mr. Steinberg's computer class where they will be building websites! Everyone is so excited!
Next Thursday, 10/29 our class will be visiting the "Monster Book Fair"! This is a great opportunity for students to stock up on book for AR that will be beginning so soon! Our class is ready to rock those tests!
